Dr. Jennifer Sarantos

Meet Our Doctors in Portage – Dr. Jennifer Sarantos has been with our office since 2005 and has been in the field of dentistry since 2001 when she graduated from the University of Michigan dental school (undergrad at U of M also in ’96). Her goal is to provide comprehensive care for all of her patients. She maintains the highest standards while ensuring the patient’s physical and emotional comfort. Dr. Sarantos combines her dental expertise with outstanding care.

She enjoys treating people of all ages, offering a wide range of treatment options. She restores patients to function using cosmetic techniques with tooth-colored composite restorations, esthetic porcelain crowns, and implant restorations. Dr. Sarantos has a warm personal touch and takes the time to get to know her patients.

Personal Life

She and her husband, Curtis, both hail from Portage and currently reside here, living right next door to Jennifer’s mother. Their 3 boys, Jonah, Sam, and Josh, are close in age to each other and can be a little bit of a handful but provide great stories to share with patients. Now that the boys are getting older, she is excited to start traveling more as a family.

Jennifer is an avid fan of U of M football, the music of Prince, and spending time with her family. She and her assistant, Janet, are often found swapping recipes and discussing all types of food. Jennifer, Janet, and her other assistant, Brooke, also discuss the latest Survivor episodes together. She enjoys reading for her monthly Book Club and is a Sustainer in the Junior League of Kalamazoo. Jennifer grew up with three younger brothers who all have families of their own, and they love to spend time together at Camp Michigania on Walloon Lake. GO BLUE!

Dr. Keith Wester

Meet Our Doctors in Portage – Dr. Keith Wester started practicing dentistry in 1989 after completing his studies at Indiana University and then attending the University of Michigan for dental school. Dr. Wester is an exceptionally caring and talented cosmetic dentist. Known for listening to his patients’ concerns and taking the time to explain their treatment options to them, Dr. Wester believes in educating his patients about their options.

As a cosmetic dentist, he is dedicated to helping them achieve the smile of their dreams with effective options like standard diameter implants (SDIs) and mini diameter implants (MDIs), porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, porcelain crowns, and more. He provides the utmost care for his patients, and his skills are impeccable.

Personal Life

Keith and his wife, Mariel, enjoy traveling to visit their kids and grandchildren throughout the U.S. and even in the UK, where one resides.

A Portage Native

Dr. Wester has been involved with various organizations and clubs within the Kalamazoo area and outside of Kalamazoo for more than 35 years. Over the decades, he has stayed active through bicycling and is an avid golfer, organizing many golf excursions for family and friends.

  Didn't hurt a bit. Sorantos and the rest of the crew are the best. I have been coming here for what is going on 20 years and dread the idea of ever going anywhere else. I have never had anything more than the expected discomfort and the usual ask you questions with their hands in your mouth kinda stuff. She is also the biggest Prince fan in dentistry for what that is worth. Nice Moorsbridge views, trust and atmosphere that nearly put me to sleep every time. All right being too nice at this point, but wherever you are going, it's second at best.

  Wester Dental kindly fit me into their schedule when I had a dental mishap, even though I was not a patient of the clinic. Dr. Wester and the staff were very nice. The issue was resolved quickly, professionally,  and painlessly. They all rate 5 🌟 stars.

  Nobody likes the dentist. Let’s admit that. But if you have to go to the dentist, which is obvious, Dr. Wester and Dr. Sorantos and the entire staff are amazing! Wish I didn’t have to have the work I had to have done, but that’s my problem not the dentist problem. Dr. Wester and Dr. Sorentos take the pain out of the process!

  Another experience of best dental care. One can always expect a genuine  regard for patients, starting with walking in the door being greeted by the professional and friendly staff , Dana and Katie, to  the expert care from the amazing team I had today of Dr. Sarantos, and Janet.
